Red Gate Farm in Ashfield provides valuable work experience. Two or three individuals volunteer at the farm where they change bedding, gather eggs, move firewood, and do other hands-on farm tasks.They even built a new chicken coop.Through their work they are exposed to the challenges and rewards of farm life.

Adrienne Shelton, their Farm Manager, says the individuals from Employment Supports are “really enthusiastic!They know the farm, we tell them what to do, and they just go and do it.I can rely on them doing the job and doing it well.”
