Job Openings in Residential Supports  Other Opportunities

Residential Supports is seeking enthusiastic, dependable people to join our team in supporting individuals with development disabilities.  As a Residential Staff member you would be providing direct care to program participants to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare and rights.  We look for applicants who have a knowledge and some experience in the human service field and with individuals with developmental disabilities.  We have full time, part time and relief (on-call, as needed), and overnight (both sleep and awake) positions available.

Intensive Residential Services is dedicated to providing the best quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities who need high levels of support.  People with complex medical and physical needs, and severe developmental disabilities require technically skilled medical care and assistance with communication skills and other aspects of daily living.

Community Resources for People with Autism provides support, information and practical help for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families in Western Massachusetts.  We are committed to family empowerment, inclusion in schools and communities and positive teaching strategies.

The Family Support Division develops partnerships with families, individuals with developmental disabilities, and professionals to:

• Provide opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their fullest potential,
• empower families to make informed decisions about the issues that affect the quality of their lives, and
• develop service options that are flexible, easy to access, and sensitive to the cultural needs of the families.

The family-directed programs of the Family Support Division are Down Syndrome Resource Group of Western Massachusetts (DSRGWM), Family Empowerment Program, Family Support Program, Greater Athol Area Advocates for Families with Special Needs (GAAAFSN), Multicultural Families of Amherst Area (MFAA), and Support for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
