To Donate Stocks or Bonds:

Gifts of appreciated securities are stocks and bonds that have appreciated in value and have been held for more than six months.

Your gift of appreciated securities to The Association For Community Living can benefit you in two ways: you receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities; at the same time you avoid capital gains taxes on the appreciated securities.

If you are donating appreciated securities through your Broker please contact Ruth Banta at bantar@theassn.org or 413-731-4576.

Also, please notify The Association with the name of the security being donated, the number of shares, and your broker’s contact information.
