For individuals with developmental disabilities, we strive to create opportunities to learn, to grow, to enjoy life, and to have true choice in their future.
For the families who love them, we strive to create opportunities to gain understanding, reassurance, confidence, and the knowledge that every one of us is totally committed to their well-being.
Our organization continues to grow and create new opportunities thanks to the vision of our founders.
It took the courage of five young mothers, over a half century ago, to ignite the process of creating ways to help their children with mental retardation discover the unique potential each of them possessed and become a part of their community. This determination led to the creation of The Association For Community Living.
Today, we are privileged to serve 1,270 individuals and 966 families in 90 cities and towns throughout Western Massachusetts and northern Worcester County.
And we’re inviting you to help us create even more opportunities through your support.
