Priorities for Giving- A Compelling Need.

We create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to learn, to grow, to enjoy life, and to have true choice in their future.

The Association’s priorities for community support are the following programs:

A New Way to Support Children with Autism
Aid Community Resources for People with Autism to continue implementing a futures planning process to effectively support the increasing numbers of children with autism and their families.  
 
Community Connection with Enhancement Project
Help the Family Support Division provide innovative, quality support to enable individuals to continue their social and emotional growth, and build meaningful social relationships in their communities.

Strengthen Community with Technology
Help The Association build an intranet site (a user friendly and
responsive internal website) to increase access to information, and communication between families, staff members, and leaders.

Vocational Training and Employment Supports Program
Provide employment training, experience and part-time jobs
for adults with developmental disabilities - factors necessary for
individuals to gain independent employment.
